My Careers Tutor approach

Through My Careers Tutor, Melanie empowers students and graduates aged 15-25 to make well researched, appropriately discussed and prioritized decisions about their educational and career pathways. Ensuring personalized, impartial career guidance at the time they need it. Melanie helps students to navigate the complexities of career planning with confidence and clarity.

My Careers Tutor

Melanie Forrester BSc (Hons), PG Dip, RCDP, MCDI

Melanie is a fully-qualified L7 Careers Guidance Practitioner, a L6 Careers Leader and a licensed Morrisby practitioner. She has over 12 years’ experience in providing Careers Guidance for students and graduates age 15-25. A coach to multiple School Careers Leaders, she has supported each to create their ‘whole school’ Careers Guidance and Education Plan, to achieve the Gatsby Benchmarks and Statutory Duty. Melanie brings a wealth of expertise and a personal touch to every session, ensuring each student receives the individual attention they deserve.     • L7 Careers Guidance Practitioner and L6 Careers Leader

    • Member of the Career Development Institute (CDI) & The Tutors Association (TTA)

    • Registered on the UK Register of Career Development Professionals

    • Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)

    • Qualified in Psychometric Evaluation (British Psychological Society Level A & B)

  • Professional Standards:

    • Adheres to CDI, CIPD & TTA Code of Ethics, enhanced DBS, fully insured.
